Restorative Yoga can be described as conscious mind-body relaxation. When supported with props the body relaxes and opens, releasing stored up tension and calming the nervous system. These supported poses have a cooling effect on the body and are very effective in replenishing our energy reserves.
Anja’s yoga journey began with restorative yoga in 2000 when she was suffering acute chronic fatigue syndrome – and she’s never looked back!
